Amazon Food Finds: Low-Carb Noodles, Meat Snack Sticks, Natural Energy Drink

Jul 24 2024
We all know that Amazon has pretty much everything, but if you’re not using the online mega-retailer to order shelf-stable foods, you’re missing out! We ordered a ton of products to try on the Hungry Girl podcast, and these are a few major standouts…

Noodle Revolution Vermicelli

2/3 cup (1 container): 45 calories, 0g total fat (0g sat. fat), 5mg sodium, <1g carbs, <1g fiber, 0g total sugars (0g added sugars), 10g protein
WW Points® value 0*
Major food-find alert! These shelf-stable noodles are highly notable: They’re made from egg whites and have no flour, no gluten, and only trace amounts of any carbs. The texture is tender (it reminds us a bit of the noodles you find in chicken noodle soup), with no weird smell or bounciness like low-carb shirataki-style noodles. Are these noods the next big thing? Give ‘em a try! We tried the Vermicelli, but they also come in a Ramen Style shape. Order online from Amazon or from the Pure Traditions brand website.

Western’s Smokehouse Meat Sticks

1-oz. stick: 100–120 calories, 7–8g total fat (2.5–3.5g sat. fat), 360–480mg sodium, 1–7g carbs, 0g fiber, 0–6g total sugars (0–3g added sugars), 7–8g protein
WW Points® value 4–5*
If it’s time for you to stock up on protein snacks (it always is for us), do yourself a favor and order these tasty meat sticks! They come in a TON of varieties, made from beef & pork, and they’re really delicious. The Barbeque Flavored Pineapple Pork Stick is a major standout with its spectacular fruity taste. This 20-stick variety pack is a great deal and features eight of the flavors. These only appear to be sold on Amazon at present, so scope out the full lineup now!

GORGIE Energy Drink With Benefits

1 can: 5 calories, 0g total fat (0g sat. fat), 0mg sodium, 1g carbs, 0g fiber, 0g total sugars (0g added sugars), 0g protein
WW Points® value 0*
Do we look more gorgeous? (We’ve been drinking our GORGIE!) This is more than just another energy drink—the sparkling sippers are spiked with biotin for healthy hair & skin, along with L-theanine and vitamins B6 & B12. The energy boost comes courtesy of 150mg green tea caffeine, and there’s zero sugar involved even though the drinks are sweet & delicious, thanks to stevia. Naturally flavored, no artificial colors or sweeteners, and no sugar alcohols! In Sparkling Watermelon Crush (the HG favorite), Sparkling Paradise Punch, and more, they’d be great as mixers and mocktails. Available on Amazon and getgorgie.com, or click to locate near you!
