This Week's 3 Things to Know...
Energize your brain: Braingear Brain Performance Formula!
We were skeptical when
Braingear showed up at Hungryland. With only 10 calories a bottle and a tasty pineapple mango flavor, it claims to optimize brain performance and promote focus, clarity, and concentration. Yeah, right, we thought. Then we tried it. Lisa herself
flipped over it; it helped her focus and feel energized without the jitters that come with too much caffeine! She ordered it online, and now drinks it daily! And guess what?! The Braingear folks have offered up this excellent deal for HG fans: Use coupon code hungrygirl and get 15% off, plus free shipping! (Ends 7/30/17).
Totally worth trying! (By the way, this is NOT sponsored content; we're just HUGE fans.)
Will yogurt chips be the hot new health-food snack?
Color us intrigued:
Frito-Lay has filed a patent for making yogurt crisps! The brand claims that its method would produce a dough containing a high amount of yogurt. This dough could be used to create light and crunchy yogurt chips that are completely shelf-stable. COOL! More on this as it develops...
A veggie-beef hybrid patty may be coming to Sonic!
For ages, we've been cutting calories in beef dishes by incorporating mushrooms. Now,
it appears that Sonic Drive-In is on track to be the first national chain to offer burger patties made from both beef and mushrooms; a test run is reportedly coming to select markets this summer! Dubbed Sonic Slingers, these burgers will likely be lower in calories and fat than your average fast-food burger. Sonic: Call us if you need taste testers!
And that's all we've got. 'Til next time... Chew the right thing!
