Healthy Sprouts Food Finds: Crispy Quinoa Snack, Plant-Based Tres Leches Creamer, Frozen Sweet & Sour Noodles

Aug 7 2024
WOWOWOW! We did our first ever haul from Sprouts Farmers Market on the Hungry Girl podcast, and it was packed with hit after hit. We’re sharing a few of our favorites from the bunch with you today, but you do not want to miss out on the rest of the finds…

Wellness Bites Peanut Crunch Crispy Quinoa Brittle

1/5 of package: 110 calories, 6g total fat (1g sat. fat), 60mg sodium, 12g carbs, 1g fiber, 8g added sugars (added sugars NA), 3g protein
WW Points® value 5*
This Canadian snack might be THE find of the entire haul! Our minds were blown. The crispy quinoa and peanuts come together to make an incredibly tasty & crunchy treat that’s almost too good for words. (OK, here’s a word: YUM.) There are two other varieties in addition to Peanut Crunch that we’ve yet to try: Cinnamon Nut Crunch and Sweet & Salty with Chia Seeds. Find it at Sprouts stores, or order online from Amazon or the Wellness Bites website. Lisa ordered more right away, so you know it’s good.

Sprouts Organic Tres Leches Oatmilk Creamer

1 tbsp.: 20 calories, 0g total fat (0g sat. fat), 5mg sodium, 4g carbs, 0g fiber, 3g total sugars (3g added sugars), 0g protein
WW Points® value 1*
Time for a coffee upgrade! This plant-based creamer is absolutely delectable—it’s super sweet with a butterscotch-like flavor, and a little goes a long way. The oatmilk blend is free of gluten, nuts, and dairy. We’ll be adding it to our oatmeal in addition to our java. Obvi, it’s a Sprouts exclusive, so grab a carton from the refrigerated case next time you’re there.

Amy's Light Meals Sweet & Sour Asian Noodles

6.2-oz. bowl: 260 calories, 4.5g total fat (0.5g sat. fat), 690mg sodium, 46g carbs, 4g fiber, 13g total sugars (9g added sugars), 10g protein
WW Points® value 8*
The folks at Amy’s recently launched a whole new lineup of Light Meals in the freezer aisle! We fell hard for these sweet & flavorful rice noodles from the first bite. There’s pineapple juice in the mix, which we tasted right away, and it all just melds together perfectly. Featuring organic house-made tofu and diced organic veggies, this is the kind of frozen entrée you don’t want your freezer to be without. The Light Meals line also includes Quinoa & Black Beans, Spinach Lasagna, and Macaroni & Cheese! Find them at Sprouts now; coming to more grocery stores next year!
