This Week's 3 Things to Know…
Here's how much exercise it takes to counteract sitting all day.
The buzz has been strong about the ill effects of sitting for hours on end, but what do you do if it's just a part of your life? (For example, if you work for a food website, requiring you to be at your computer all day.) Results of a

These hearty blends are proof that anything rice can do, oats can do better. Sooooooo filling and flavorful! In Cheesy Oats, Jambalaya, Tomato Risotto, and Madras Curry, they're the perfect pantry staple for easy last-minute meal starters. Savory oats for the win! They're not super easy to find in stores, but they're
just a click away on Amazon. (BTW,
the brand's frozen meals are
insanely incredible, but those can only be ordered in bulk.)
McDonald's is going more natural.
You read that right. McDonald's, long associated with junky fast food, is
cleaning up its act. The chain's chicken is now 100 percent free of human antibiotics (almost a year ahead of schedule). The company also announced its plan to ditch artificial preservatives from many products, and they'll stop serving burger buns made with high-fructose corn syrup. Way to super-size those positive changes! Now how about some more reduced-calorie menu options?
