Oct 16 2024
We sampled a slew of products from Trader Joe’s, and we can’t wait to tell you all about ‘em. Scope out some of our new favorites below, and tune in to the Hungry Girl podcast for the 411 on the whole haul!

Trader Joe’s Pulled Chicken Salsa Verde

We can’t say enough good things about this precooked fridge find! The chicken itself is tender and perfectly seasoned. The sauce—which includes roasted tomatillos and green chile peppers—is flavorful with just the tiniest bit of heat. We can’t wait to spoon it over riced cauliflower and top with a dollop of light sour cream. It would also be great over salads and inside tortilla wraps. Yum!

Trader Joe’s Cookie Thins

9 cookies: 110–120 calories, 3.5–4g total fat (1.5–2g sat. fat), 85–125mg sodium, 17–18g carbs, 0g fiber, 9–10g total sugar (9–10g added sugar), 1g protein
WW Points® value 5–6*
These skinny sweets scored a 10 out of 10 on the podcast! They come in three fantastic flavors: Vanilla, Meyer Lemon, and (our favorite) Triple Ginger. We’re obsessed with the texture and the dipping possibilities: chocolate dessert dip for the Vanilla, vanilla Greek yogurt for the Meyer Lemon, and apple butter for the Triple Ginger, just to name a few. And check out the serving size: You get NINE of these for a mere 110–120 calories! Consider us FANS.

Trader Joe’s Organic Very Green Soup

1 cup: 90 calories, 4g total fat (2g sat. fat), 780mg sodium, 11g carbs, 2g fiber, 2g total sugar (0g added sugar), 3g protein
WW Points® value 3*
We love a healthy & flavorful soup, and this one delivers in spades! The green contributors are spinach, kale, and broccoli. Coconut milk brings a light creaminess to the table, and miso adds a delicious umami taste we’re still thinking about. Bonus: You can heat it up right in the container, and the entire thing has just 200 calories. Nicely done, TJs!
